Dr. Melissa Foster

Dr. Melissa Foster grew up in the suburbs of Chicago and attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology Honors & Chemistry. While at the University of Illinois she worked in a research lab and volunteered at a local hospital which sparked her interest in medicine.

Dr. Foster received her doctorate degree at Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine at Rosalind Franklin University where she graduated at the top of her class. Dr. Foster then completed her Podiatric Medicine and Surgery residency with the added credential in Rearfoot/Ankle surgery at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center in Brighton, MA. During this time, she served as Chief Resident in her final year of training and also served as a Clinical Instructor at Tufts University School of Medicine and Boston University School of Medicine.

“What I love most about podiatry is the diversity in pathologies we see each day. We can evaluate and treat everything from fractures and sport injuries to arthritis, foot and ankle deformities, diabetic foot wounds and skin conditions, all in one day! I enjoy getting to know my patients on a personal level and helping them get back to their activities.”

Dr. Foster is board qualified in Foot Surgery as well as Reconstructive Rearfoot/Ankle Surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. In her free time she enjoys playing tennis, traveling, baking, listening to country music, exploring new restaurants, and spending time with her friends and family.
