Dr. De Leon wanted to be a doctor from a young age, “ever since I watched ER and Dr. Quinn: Medicine Woman with parents”.
As a teen, Dr. De Leon was misdiagnosed with an ankle tumor. It was only after visiting a podiatrist that she received the proper care and treatment for her injury. This led her to pursue a career as a podiatrist.
Dr. De Leon grew up in Granville, OH and obtained her undergraduate degree from Miami University of Ohio and attended Kent State Podiatry school followed by a residency and fellowship at University Hospitals in Cleveland, OH. She is Board Qualified by the Academy of Foot and Ankle Surgery.
Dr. De Leon has returned to Columbus to use her surgical training in reconstruction and limb salvage to care for the community she grew up in. In her spare time, She enjoys trying new restaurants, traveling, and spending time with her dogs Chimi and Cora.
